Who: any graduate student or faculty at UC Davis, and interested in using Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for research
What: A manufacturer demonstration (3DR), Q&A, and discussion.Agenda:
*9 am – 10 am – Manufacturer Introduction – 3DR Solo 101 components and procedures to fly (including manually during emergencies), and exporting data for further analysis
*10 am – 10:15 am – Group Discussion
*10:15 am -11 am – UC Center of Excellence on Unmanned Aerial System
Safety – The steps for UC Researcher and Educator to be covered under the
UC’s Sec 333 Flight Permit Exemption
