What: Introduction to Google Earth Engine platform: Introduction and hands-on workshop
When: April 8, 2016, 1.10 – 4.30 PM
Where: 362 Shields Library, University of California, Davis, California, 95616
Who: If you are a scientist, researcher, faculty or student who regularly work with remote sensing data and want to scale up your analysis at larger/planetary scale, this workshop is for you. You will gain hands-on introductory experience with Google Earth Engine. Ideal participants will meet one or more of the following requirements:
- Currently working on geo/mapping-related projects.
- Intermediate-to-advanced technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Remote Sensing and/or geospatial analysis
- Google Earth, Maps or Earth Engine
Important: The hands-on workshop is limited to 40 participants. Please RSVP (and check the workshop question) if you want to attend the workshop. To get maximum benefit, you should register here for Earth Engine evaluator account (it may take one week to get approved, so plan early) and bring your laptop (make sure you have a web-browser installed!). You can use your ‘ucdavis.edu’ email to register for evaluator account.
