#maptimeDavis: Viewing Data in ArcGIS

Monday Oct. 30th from 2:00-4:00 in the 1014 Wickson computer lab, join the UC Davis MappingClub for an introduction to viewing data in ArcGIS. This is an introductory workshop and requires no previous knowledge of ArcGIS software.  Participants will learn to load data, change the way it the data is displayed, and other common introductory processes.  This workshop is also suitable for those wanting to learn about basic GIS in general and to decide whether or not to pursue it further.

Nothing is required to prepare for this workshop – the computer lab has the software needed. Please note that the room is different from previous #maptimeDavis workshops to accommodate the need for Windows computers. Space is limited to 20 people, so people planning to attend must register.

This workshop is a part of the #maptime Davis workshop series. #maptime Davis is brought to you by the UC Davis Library’s Data Management Program & the UC Davis Center for Spatial Sciences with help from several campus clubs and informal learning groups.
