#maptimeDavis Using OpenStreetMap Data

Monday Dec. 4th from 2:00-4:00 in the DSI Classroom (360 Shields Library), join instructor Ani Ghosh for a talk, case-study and hands-on exercise extracting OpenStreetMap data for map making and research use.

To do the hands on exercise, workshop attendees need to do the following to prepare:
1. Bring your own laptop computer to the workshop.
2. Install R ( https://www.r-project.org/ ) and RStudio ( https://www.rstudio.com/ )

This workshop is a part of the #maptime Davis workshop series. #maptime Davis is brought to you by the UC Davis Library’s Data Management Program & the UC Davis Center for Spatial Sciences with help from several campus clubs and informal learning groups.
