When: October 22nd, 2018 @ 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Location: DSI Classroom (360 Shields Library)
Prerequisite: No experience necessary!
Presenters: Taylor Nelsen
About: Imaging technologies such as UAVs (drones) or other low altitude imaging procurement systems are valuable data collection tools, especially for high throughput data. Images are rich in data that is often underutilized. This workshop will go over how to extract quantitative data from multi-spectral images, normalize and make use of these measurements. We will be using basic QGIS and R capabilities to explore an example data set from California wheat.
Bonus: We have Stickers!
