#maptimeDavis – Data Fusion in Remote Sensing

datafusionWhen:
November 26th, 2018
@ 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Location:
360 Shields Library (DSI Classroom)
Cost:  Totally FREE!
Prerequisite: No experience necessary!

Presenters: Han (Grace) Liu and Bin Chen

About: Learn about remote sensing data fusion and get started with spatial-temporal fusion of Landsat and MODIS imagery.

Nowadays, there are more and more remote sensing data available, how to make better use of them will be very important to all remote sensing applications. This workshop will provide audiences a guide of multi-source remote sensing data fusion types and applications. We will also provide a practice section to get audiences started with spatial-temporal fusion to fuse Landsat and MODIS imagery to generate synthetic fusions using python.

How to prepare:

    1. Register for Event
    2. Bring Laptop
    3. Software – To Be Announced (Check back)

#maptime Davis is brought to you by the UC Davis Library’s Data Management Program & the UC Davis Center for Spatial Sciences with help from several campus clubs and informal learning groups.  Space is generously provided by the Data Science Initiative (DSI).
