About

The University of California, Davis, Center for Spatial Sciences brings together faculty, staff and students interested in spatial data analysis. Our members are from different departments, graduate groups and institutes and work on applications of remote sensing, GIS, spatial statistics, geoinformatics,  cartography, and related techniques.

We regularly organize seminars and workshops that are open to the campus community and the general public. See our events page for more details.

Additionally we maintain information about campus geospatial resources and partnerships.

  • Data – California Data Links, Campus hosted Data, and external data providers with educational discounts.
  • Software Access – Campus labs and workstations with GIS and Remote Sensing software, proprietary license contacts, etc..
  • Upcoming Courses – Official courses through the registrar that cover geospatial topics.
